Monday yet again will be trash day. The recent ice storm expedited the decline of the annual plants residing in the front yard. In response to the impending Monday deadline, the only possible course of action involves either composting the dead plants or filling a yard waste bag for Monday. In other yard related news, a recent NPR Science Friday podcast suggested getting a soil test to evaluate why grass does not thrive in the backyard. The results of the test should suggest a tentative course of action to correct the current problems with the soil in the backyard. All of these yard maintenance questions will be revisited again during the course of next year.
