Any room can be silent even if just for a moment. Silence competes with the combinations of background noises. Moments pass alongside the endless stream of seemingly random thoughts. Decisions stand and fall within the perpetual cycles of acceptance and suspicion. Confusion builds from taking on the next challenge before the pervious challenge is complete.
Tomorrow marks the first day of a series of lengthy academic residency inspired travels. Walden University recently sent out a map of residency participating students throughout the United States of America. Almost every state has a number of Walden University students with concentrations in the costal regions. Looking at a map of Walden University student distribution illustrates the schools diversity.
Lengthy travels involve a preventive car oil change. Maybe it is purely futurist fantasy to believe that at some point an automobile design has to become available, that does not require oil changes. Maybe in the future a design could utilize an exchangeable oil container that is easily removable and exchangeable. During the last few years, the pursuit of higher education has required traveling across the United States of America.
Traveling for academic purposes for extended periods has a few requirements including carrying a small library of books and a growing stack of journal articles. Constantly moving around the United States should have advantages, but in an academic sense, disruptions are not always conducive to writing, but traveling is generally conducive to collaboration and consultation. Learning how to engage in academic discussions based on shared interests can be an acquired skill. Traveling does provide the opportunity for long periods of driving inspired reflective thought.
