The new upgraded version of the Windows 7 operating system will arrive sometime this week. Apparently, other people have had access to the final production version of the operating system for weeks. Naturally, the beta version of Windows 7 was freely available for download. Unfortunately, the beta version would not install on the CODEGEN server cube sitting upstairs. A driver conflict with a raid controller occurred during the beta installation. Most hardware manufactures have developed 64-bit drives. Some of the drivers function properly, but a few of the drivers fail to function. In any event, the rest of the week will be spent expecting the delivery of Windows 7.
